What training is available for the SpectroShade Micro?
The SpectroShade Micro ships with a user’s manual, quick-start guide, and a training DVD to get you started.  The training videos from the DVD are also available on our website once you register.

Is there a warranty?
Yes.  The SpectroShade Micro currently offers a 1-year warranty.

Is there any kind of trial period?
There is a 30-day money back guarantee.  If you order the unit and don’t like it, you can send it back and the only out of pocket expense is shipping.

Is it easy to calibrate?
Yes, calibration only takes about 5 seconds.

Who do I call for technical support or repair?
Your best bet is to call one of our Clōn 3D representatives and they can either take care of your issue or direct you to the proper party that can. 

Is the repair done in the United States?
Repair is done in the United States facility located in Albuquerque, NM in most cases.

The Touch Screen on my Micro unit is no longer responsive to the stylus, what do I do?
Static electricity buildup is usually to blame when the SpectroShade Micro becomes unresponsive.  The best thing to do is to hold down the trigger (measurement button) for 10 seconds to reset the unit.  If this doesn’t work, remove the battery for 10 seconds, and re-insert it.

What if my lab doesn’t have a SpectroShade Micro, can I still get them the shade information?
The shade information can be printed out on a single sheet of paper that can be sent to a lab that does not own a SpectroShade Micro.  The printout should have more than enough information to manufacture an accurate restoration.

When I start my software and unit, my computer says it cannot find the unit.
If your computer and software inform you that the unit isn’t found, make sure the SpectroShade Unit is turned on and fully booted up.  Also, check the USB connection to make sure your unit is connected properly to your computer.

What does a ‘good’ picture consist of?
A good image consists of the target tooth centered, no opposing teeth, tongue, or lip in the image, and a bit of gum tissue above the tooth. 

Is there a User's Manual available online?
Yes, the User's Manual is available here .  The unit is also shipped with a User's Manual that can be accessed via the software installation CD.
